详细描述：
Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 is the principal inhibitor of tissue plasminogen activator(tPA) and uPA, the activators of plasminogenand hence fibrinolysis(the physiological breakdown of blood clots). It is a serine protease inhibitor(serpin) protein (SERPIN-E1). The other PAI, plasminogen activator inhibitor-2 (PAI-2) is secreted by the placentaand only present in significant amounts during pregnancy. In addition, protease nexinacts as an inhibitor of tPA. SERPIN-E1, however, is the main inhibitor of the plasminogen activators. Human recombinant PAI-1 produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain of 400 amino acids (aa 24-402), having a molecular mass of 45 kDa. Recombinant PAI-1 is fused to a His-Tag at the N-terminus and has been purified using proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Formulation: Sterile-filtered colorless protein solution (1 mg/ml) in 150 mM sodium dihydrogenphosphate (pH 6.6), 0.5 mM NaCl, 2 mM glutathione and 0.01% Tween-80.
