AITR/TNFRSF18 (Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily member 18) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. AITR is the receptor for TNFSF18 and appears to be involved in interactions between activated T-lymphocytes and endothelial cells and in the regulation of T-cell receptor-mediated cell death. It is mediates NF-kappa-B activation via the TRAF2/NIK pathway. Human recombinant AITR produced in Sf9 cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain of 145 amino acids (aa 26-162), having a molecular mass of 15.6 kDa (migrates at 18-28 kDa in SDSPAGE under reducing conditions). Recombinant AITR is fused to an 8 amino acid His-tag at the Cterminus and has been purified using proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Formulation: Sterile-filtered colorless protein solution (0.5 mg/ml) containing phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.4) and 10% glycerol.
