Interleukin-17 receptor A isoform 1 (IL-17RA) is a cytokine receptor which binds Interleukin-17. IL-17RA is a potent inducer of the maturation of CD34-positive hematopoietic precursors into neutrophils. IL-17RA is a type 1 membrane glycoprotein which binds with low affinity to Interleukin-17A. The IL-17RA protein and Interleukin-17A have a pathogenic role in many inflammatory and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Human recombinant IL-17RA produced in Sf9 cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain of 527 amino acids (33-320), having a molecular mass of 60.4 kDa (molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 70-100 kDa). IL-17RA is fused to a 239 amino acid hIgG-His-Tag at the C-terminus and has been purified using proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Formulation: Sterile-filtered colorless protein solution (0.5 mg/ml) containing phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.4) and 10% glycerol.
