详细描述：
IL-12 is a potent regulator of cell-mediated immune responses and it induces IFN-γproduction by NK and T cells. It is produced by activated monocytes/macrophage cells, B lymphocytes and connective tissue-type mast cells. Among its biological activities, IL-12 promotes the growth and activity of activated NK, CD4+ and CD8+ cells, and induces the development of IFN-γproducing Th1 cells. PromoCell's recombinant human IL-12 produced in a baculovirus expression system is a glycosylated disulfide-linked (through cysteines) heterodimer comprised of IL-12A (aa 23-219, total of 203 aa, MW 23.3 kDa) and IL-12B (aa 23-328, total of 306 aa, MW 34.6 kDa), having a total predicted molecular mass of 57.9 kDa (Molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher). Recombinant human IL12A is fused to a 6 amino acid His-tag at the C-terminus and has been purified using proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Formulation:Sterile-filtered, colorless protein solution (0.5 mg/ml) containing phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.4) and 10% glycerol.
