Leukemia inhibitory factor receptor (LIF-R) is the receptor for leukemia inhibitory factor, a pleiotropic cytokine affecting the differentiation, survival, and proliferation of various cells in the adult and the embryo. LIF-R plays an imperative role in a number of aspects of early pregnancy such as blastocyst implantation in the uterus.Recombinat LIF-R produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain of 798 amino acids (45-833 a.a.), having a molecular mass of 90.5 kDa (molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 100-150 kDa). LIFR is expressed with a 6 amino acid His tag at the C-Terminus and has been purified using proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Formulation:Sterile-filtered, clear protein solution (0.5 mg/ml) containing phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) and 10% glycerol.
