详细描述：
Periostin (OSF-2) is a disulfide linked 90 kDa, 811 amino acid protein originally isolated as an osteoblast-specific factor that functions as a cell adhesion molecule for preosteoblasts. It is thought to be involved in osteoblast recruitment, attachment and spreading. Additionally, periostin expression has previously been shown to be significantly increased by both transforming growth factor beta-1 (TGF-beta1) and bone morphogenetic protein (BMP-2). The Human OSF-2 His-tagged fusion protein is produced in E. coli. The 75 kDa protein contains 648 amino acid residues of the human OSF-2 and 23 additional amino acid residues (-His-tag, Xa-cleavage site).
Formulation:White, lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Sterile-filtered (0.4 µm filter) and lyophilized from a 0.5 mg/ml protein solution in 0.05 M acetate buffer (pH 4).
