详细描述：
Erythropoietin receptor, also known as EPO-R arbitrates erythropoietin-induced erythroblast proliferation as well as differentiation. During EPO binding, EPO-R activates Jak2 tyrosine kinase which activates various intracellular pathways including: Ras/MAP kinase, phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and STAT transcription factors. Furthermore, stimulated EPO-R has a function in erythroid cell survival. Mutations in EPO-R may possibly produce erythroleukemia and familial erythrocytosis. In addition, dysregulation of EPO-R can affect the growth of selected tumors.EPO-R produced in Sf9 cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain of 232 amino acids (25-250a.a.), having a molecular mass of 25.6 kDa (molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 28-40 kDa). Recombinant EPO-R is expressed with a 6 amino acid His-tag at the CTerminus and has been purified using proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Formulation: Sterile-filtered, clear protein solution (0.5 mg/ml) containing phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) and 10% glycerol.
